Report

Introduction

In the following paragraphs i will describe my five months experience as student  and professional in Switzerland, specifically in Lausanne University and  to make recommendations for the future.

Work Experience
My work experience here was in a few words learn about  gender violence and migration in Laussane University and on the other hand give orientation to people and families that just arrived to the country. All of this supported by the University as a part of a policy to integrate immigrants.
During this five months i divided my timen between study in the mornings and working in the evenings, so it was very stressful exhausting at first, but when i get use to it become really enriching for me and gratifying.
Most of the time i were in the university or town hall where people arrive for orientation. Besides it was a lot of work i enjoyed knew and spend time with my new colleagues there, they taught me a lot about work and academical subjects of my interest but also about local culture. It was a really good place, the dress code was not so strict.

General comets and plans for the future
All the things i learned will be really useful for my professional future. I hope when i return to Chile i can work with related subject because the migration is really a phenomenal that in Chile need to be worked and have a better management for the state side.

 conclusion

i can only says that this is really a good experience in the end for anyone who has interest in this subject and wants to grow up professionally, besides it can be very exigent at first time.

FREE TOPIC RELATED TO YOUR CAREER: obstetric violence

In this essay we will review and criticize how births develop and which things and behaviors can we change so at the end this process would be less invasive and involve less consequences (mentally and physically) for the women and body with the ability to get pregnant. For this issue we have two scopes; the education before the birth and the labor.
With this propose we are going to introduce and  define a new concept: obstetric violence.

Obstetric violence is defines as the appropriation of the body and reproductive processes of women by personnel from health, which is expressed in a dehumanizing treatment, bringing with it loss of autonomy and ability to freely decide on their bodies and sexuality.

Chile is one of the countries with 47% of the birth are by cesarean section, while the OMS recommends only 12%. In other word, a lot of this intervention in the country are not necessary and does not obey medical recommendation but other things like price, time or simply the doctor comfort.

There some cases for example of women that have died after this interventions because the medical personal ignores their feelings and perceptions of their own bodies, justifying their aches as stress, depression or their hormonal instability due to the labor.

As can be seen, the women in the labor many times is seen as a person with no knowledge and no power of decision, so the doctors and nurses ignore them and their feelings continually, this behavior can put the mother and the baby in risk, besides it can be consider as gender violence, also because as we all know most of the obstetricians are men.

Having the latest technology is important to success

In this essay we will write about how technology influences in work success, and most in the Covid-19 context, where technology is even most important to work and developed almost any activity like education, that is also related with future jobs and university career. So work and educations are going to be the scopes where technology is important to success, any way we have to know that is not the only thing that matters.

First, in the pandemic context all lot of people have to study and work from their houses that make have or not have internet, computers and other technology resources very important to success and other things that entails. Have a good computer maybe not the latest technology but a good one that you can use all day and keep connected is essential, also a good internet and signal connection because now is the only way to be connected.
The problem is that not all people have this things and in case of education as a right is the estate who have to give it and then student can give the first step to educational success. While in jobs the employer is supposed to give the essential tools, but that also depends on the type of the job, the company resources and safe environment. If that tow things are enough the workers will have the opportunity to success.

As can be seen in the lates month technology is in the actual context very important at job and education, and is also esencial to success.

Write the concluding paragraph for the following essay

It has been said by various social commentators over the ages, among them Dostoyevsky, that how civilized a country is can be measured by how it treats its inmates or those in prison. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this idea?

Concluding, torture and abuse does not have justification, each crime have a punishment but mistreatment is not one and it is not legal either. Violence don't have effects in the crime rates of the countries, so the question we have to do to ourselves,  to the society and to the politicians that make decisions related to the prisons issue is if the incarceration have the objetive of revenge or reintegration? Can the human rights disappear for a person that did a crime? What means to live in a civilized society?

Exercise 2
Write two paragraphs that present pro and contra arguments in response to this question:
There is a growing trend to see obesity as a public health problem that requires state intervention while some people feel that this is a personal issue that should be resolved accordingly. How do you see this?

When we talk about obesity is undeniable that its present as a individual problem because we are obviously talking about people with obesity problems most of the time related with feeding imbalances, sedentary life and sometimes genetic factors. If we think only in this three factors as a explanation of the obesity we well find the solution as well in personal responsibilities. People must have a better control of their time and the kind of food that they eat with the objetive of put their healthy live as a priority in their lifestyle, and that decision has to be personal, nobody can do it for you. However, the past paragraphs ignores that there ir a group of people that doesn't have total control of their lifestyle, we are talking about the children. Children obesity is also a big problem that can not be resolve in the same way as the adults people. Children live according the schools times where they attend and eats the food that their family can buy for them, so there are some factor related to obesity that have to be resolved with state intervention, specially if we think the feeding as a cultural factor.

INTRODUCTORY PARAGRAPH: chilean education and immigration

1. Sometimes i think how can i explain the Chilean education system to someone who doesn't live here. The first things i think is important to understand is the relation between the quality of the education and the money that parents can pay for their children to study. The second, is the inequalities between schools related to that fact, or in other words; the financing of the schools and the distinction between public, private and subsidized institutions.  And finally the consequences for the student in their lives and futures. After explain that, the thing is how can we talk about equal opportunities, social mobility or personal effort? In my opinion we simply can't.

2. Immigration in Chile has been recently a theme, a political theme really because we can say that immigration has been a social phenomenon during all human history.  However in Chile at least this theme doesn't have the political attention that should. Indeed, most of the policies and projects to ensure a good integration and for the other side lives without discrimination, has been developed by mayors and municipalities with a big number of immigrant neighbors. The question is why the main government are not interested in developed a good politics for the immigrants all over the country and instead prefer invert in humanitarian return flights? The argue we are going to explore is that this is important in first place because it can generate some consequences like people camping in front of their embassies with no food neither security of any kind. That is only the expression of the fragile reality of a lot of immigrants in Chile even before the corona-virus.
